Panel 18 - Inhabitants of Marquesas Islands
The Marquesa Islands were visited by Captain Cook in 1773. The peoples shown in the middle distance are of Cap Maria van Dieman, New Holland (Australia) and Admiralty Islands.

Panel 19 - Inhabitants of Easter Island
Easter Island was allegedly discovered by the English buccaneer Captain John Davis in 1686, and visited by Captain Cook in 1773.
